In collaboration with The Estée Lauder Companies, Pinterest, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and CLINIQUE, I developed the visual identity for Black Women Thriving 2025, an intimate convening held on Martha’s Vineyard to celebrate and explore the intersections of Black women’s beauty, health, and midlife wellness.
Inspired by the island’s iconic hydrangeas and its legacy as a safe haven for Black culture and community, I created a watercolor-based aesthetic that blends organic texture with refined typography. The central visual—featuring the soft silhouette of a Black woman emerging from delicate washes of color—evokes both introspection and quiet power.
Every detail was designed to honor the richness and nuance of Black womanhood, from the fluid gradients that mimic sea and sky to the tactile quality of the paper-textured elements. The visual system extended across print, digital, and environmental assets to create a cohesive, immersive experience rooted in care, heritage, and beauty.
This project is a reflection of my passion for thoughtful, culturally attuned design that resonates on both an emotional and visual level.
